I want to share the beauty of the Japanese language and culture, like a gentle light shining down from the sky, beyond the boundaries of nations and traditions.
With this wish in my heart, I founded Sora no Hikari.

What I aim to express is a “gentle light” and “serenity” that calm the mind and bring warmth.
I shape these feelings into artworks that blend into daily life,
and by adding the story of beautiful Japanese words,
I hope to create an experience that resonates both through design and language.
First Project: The 12 Zodiac Posters
This series introduces zodiac symbols painted with traditional Japanese brush strokes, paired with elegant Japanese words.
In Western culture, zodiac signs are a familiar part of identity.
By expressing them with Japanese calligraphy and meaningful words,
I believed people could feel both freshness and familiarity.
Through this blog, I will share:
- The stories and thoughts behind my works
- The depth and joy of the Japanese language
- My personal journey, continuing challenges in my mid-30s
I hope I can bring a little “light” into your everyday life.
Please continue to follow the journey of Sora no Hikari.
